We were out earlier but Borders is closed of course.

Mom says today is a bad day for pictures...I guess she's cooking or something. :T But it's perfect for ME after I take care of some last-minute stuff because like I told her when else are we going to do it, and there's not many people around. Friday we're taking grandma back to the airport, Saturday IDK errands at least, Sunday I have to go back to college.

Going off to do random stuff like watch Dune now~ LOLyeah, saying I had a Pixiv is really all I wanted.

Yoshizawa in that middle panel is totally reminding me of another character from a different manga (who I think actually DOES have two-toned hair...as you can see in the next panel, Yoshizawa doesn't. His hair is completely black...brown...one of those, IDK which since I've never seen a color page with him and only seen one chapter cover even) but I can't figure out what manga it is. Does anyone else have any ideas for who I might be thinking of? x__x

Also I need to be kicked for not realizing before that Luck in Baccano! and Lavi in D.Gray-Man have the same actor in the dub. D: I didn't know until I was watching D.Gray-Man and was like, "I wonder if Lavi's actor plays anyone in Baccano!. He's got a bit of an accent..." and he plays Gretto and Luck. x___x If Luck weren't one of my darlings in Baccano! (Along with Vino, Claudia, Charon, Christopher, Huey, Leeza, and Lua) I wouldn't feel as bad, but since I love both Luck and Lavi, I feel like I should have noticed "OTL

I'm sad they cut out and changed some of the parts, but GOSH Jason Liebrecht was the most adorable Lavi ever. *___* Some of the tones in his voice were so cute this time. xD <3 (He wasn't in the first season, barely...so...couldn't really tell : D) Ah, in a childish sort of way. :D But I tend to like childish, so *laughs* yeah.

The commentary had almost nothing to do with D.Gray; they were like, "IDK WHAT TO SAY GUYS." so a lot of it was awkward silence and random facts like that hamsters are allergic to cedar wood. xP I don't know if it was good or bad...

Finished reading Odette now, BTW. All the scans, I mean. Because I still haven't read volumes 5 or 6 and most of volume 4. Back to playing the waiting game, I suppose. Even though Intercross doesn't say they dropped it, I bet they did. It's been like 2/3 of a year since the last release, and Karakuri Odette is licensed, after all, even if the volumes didn't come out until just recently. (Vol. 1 at the end of September, vol.2 will be in February...though I don't see why it takes that long since the volumes are out and as near as I can tell there isn't anything that would be particularly difficult to translate--although most characters are Japanese, it's not as if there's a lot of cultural stuff going on, or that they're making word puns. It would just be when Odette and Chris were playing the word chain game instead of paying attention to their "father," and I think that's in volume 3...?)

I should start tagging entries by author...there isn't a way to delete tags, right? You can remove all the entries, but it'll still just say, "[insert tag name] 0 entries"?

First hearing the news that VIZ had licensed Kamisama Hajimemashita, I was like, "YAAAAAAY~!" because that means I can have it to own. (Even though VIZ isn't known for their good translations...>A> At least the Shonen JUMP department. I haven't really paid attention to the Ouran translations enough to notice any glaring details, so I don't know if Shoujo Beat is as bad)

But then I looked it up and learned that first volume release isn't until NEXT NOVEMBER. Aaarrrrgh, that's so far away! And I think Aerandria is dropping scanning it, too. Pretty sure. So I'll have to wait over a year for what happens next if that's the case. .____. Aerandria was on volume 3 too...so that means May 2011 I guess. "OTL

I did find out that Julietta Suzuki has other works though, so I'll definitely have to check those out. Akuma to Dolce and Karakuri Odette. Kinda kicking myself for not looking it up before; both those titles are definitely familiar to me. I think I might have actually even looked at Akuma to Dolce's summary page once. : D Well, looking at the summaries again, I'll try Akuma to Dolce first. In general I'm not big on the whole robot thing in manga~~ \OoO/ Though I'll give Karakuri Odette a shot regardless.

I'm thinking of making a Kamisama Hajimemashita set with the latest chapter. Nana was really pretty in that kimono. >3< <333 But I'll wait a while because I don't have a particular panel in mind and I spent a good portion of yesterday BS-ing my way through a Miranda avatar.

Somehow, in wandering around looking at Durarara!! stuff, not even reading it really, I seem to have managed to attach myself to two of the most wicked people in the series. ಠ_ಠ

Yup, for now I've decided I like Izaya and Shizuo. And Masaomi. Izaya Orihara is QUITE the strange name though, must agree with main character boi. QUITE strange.

...actually, it's probably my liking Masaomi that's more unfathomable. If I stare hard enough, I think I can figure out why I like Izaya and Shizuo....especially Shizuo.

Really quick note on Elmer before I do the meme--I now understand what people meant when they said he was more evil than Huey. It's confusing coming from someone who's always trying to make people smile, but I guess the point is he doesn't care how they're feeling when he does it. He doesn't care how traumatized Sylvie is over Gretto, and he doesn't care about revenge or respect for the dead, because as far as he's concerned the dead ones don't matter anymore and an afterlife doesn't exist. So...that's why. "Smile for me, no matter how hurt you are at the moment." To be fair though, he's probably nuttier than a fruitcake. It really broke my heart to hear Huey talking about Elmer's past, that's terrible and I don't see how you can smile after that and be sane. D:

I wonder if I confused the Starbucks people by not walking over there today. *sigh* Apparently the pastries I like are in stores starting from today too...my mom was gloating a little earlier when she left a message on my phone. I guess it's bad for me anyways, but still.

Ate an orange this morning, our sink's been clogged for a day. *grumble* Honestly I should be reading Dune: Messiah and/or writing the proposal for Womens' Studies, but I missed Luck so I read a chapter of Baccano! instead. She moved the proposal to Wednesday instead of tonight at 11 PM but that's almost completely unhelpful since Wednesday I won't be in the dorm until nighttime basically anyhow. *headdesk* It only helps because I tend to submit things at like midnight.

No WS on Thursday, and I have Bio test on Friday afternoon, so I can sleep late both those days again. Yay.

I'm going totally stir-crazy. I WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE AND I DON'T CARE WHERE IT IS. I know I was just at home, but ugh x___x The weather's so nice out that I'm going insane by staying on campus. Goodness knows how it'll be in spring semester when I think the only occassion for having break will be midterms, instead of one break a month. Nobody's really talked to me today either.

And yeah, like I said yesterday, I have a lot of stuff going on this week. X___x So I can't afford to take breaks, as much...I need to finish reading Dune:Messiah and write an essay on it that's due December 3rd, in addition to all the other stuff. I dunno when I'm supposed to study Precalc between WS stuff due tomorrow, art test on Wednesday, and Bio test on Friday. @A@

I think I've said so already, but the ability to remember everything that I encountered. :3 Well, at the very least most of it would be good, since I realize it's a problem for some of the four people that can do that. But I just hate being so forgetful these days...I used to be really good at remembering stuff in middle school. ><

Went to Wal-Mart yesterday and got my stuff for my Halloween outift...bah. (I know it's late, I wasn't home! To make up for it, I'll take pictures in both color and BW...because BW has a depth I like, and color didn't exist in the 30's...but I like color personally, haha~ Maybe I'll try some with an amber screen too.) I really should put together that outfit NOW, while it's still kinda light out, but. o___o Too lazy. SHOULD, REALLY SHOULD. Especially since in a week or two when I'm here for Thanksgiving the leaves on our trees might be dead. Huh. Sitting and taking them with my cherry tree would be nice, it's a very interesting color...yellow at the center and pinkish at the tips of the branches. Also, I'll be colder in a week or two, and not here tomorrow because my mom's taking me with her for a fencing tournament that starts at 11 AM. And I would honestly rather take these pictures at evening. I doubt night flatters me very much, but the Flying Pussyfoot was essentially a night train, or most of the action happened at night...plus, mafia! =3=! Night is more suited to the mafia. Even though Lua's just a mafia wife, not a mafia girl herself...I think.

Also got a Tamagotchi Music Star, yay~ \OoO/ It's blue...if it's a girl I wanna name her Hachiko for some reason. But I haven't opened it yet so I don't know, and I think there aren't that many spaces anyways xD (Or maybe there are. I know I named one "Yoruichi" once...but I don't recall if I shortened the name to fit or not o^o)

I got my History class after all, turns out it was just a power outage thing they hadn't gotten around to yet. >:D

Will probably edit this later when I play my games and read xxxHOLIC, KHR, and Bakuman. Still haven't gotten the chance to, and I have to go now. T^T
